Call for Volunteers

Everybody needs people, but not everyone has someone. You can change this. We are looking for people to volunteer as befrienders in the community.

Befriending is simply a supported friendship between two people; a volunteer-befriender and a member of the local community who feels isolated or alone. This provides the individual with someone they know who is there for them without expecting payment or a return of favour. To find out more, find out how to volunteer from our health portal, where you will find lots of opportunities to volunteer and learn new things in one place.
